Welcome to the Assemblies of God- Back to God website. This is a digital platform that provides an opportunity for the church at various levels, to share information on matters pertaining to our programs. It is intended to benefit members of the church, our associates and everyone who might have an interest to our content. It is common knowledge that all organisations would utilise website to ensure that their core business is effectively communicated to our audience. It becomes imperative that I declare upfront that our vision which encapsulated our core business is – To be a church of Jesus Christ, preaching the whole gospel reaching Africa from Cape to Cairo.

I am pleased to inform you that Assemblies of God- Back to God was established, full-blown 80 years ago. God laid a message to Rev Nicholus Bhekinkosi Bhengu calling people back to God, a message of repentance which led massive people to repentance in crusades that exploded in the then city of Port Elizabeth and surroundings. The fire spread to East London in 1950 and to the rest of South Africa and Southern Africa. More I welcome you, it becomes critical that AOG-BTG has got active local churches throughout South Africa and also in Mozambique, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The content will be covering matters if interest taking place in the said areas. We are currently making endeavors as we celebrate 80 years of existence of Assemblies of God – Back to God to ensure that strategies that seek to enhance great commission calling people Back to God are enhanced without compromise.We shall always be influenced by Mathew 28:18-20 – ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
